Thank you for your interest in joining our IRC network!

If you were just looking for the webchat client you can view that here,
however, I still HIGHLY recommend at least loading it in pidgin if not an actual IRC client

If you need help setting up the actual mIRC client, a help page for that can be found here.
If you would like to download our portable copy that's already setup to join our network, check the downloads page.




To get it setup in pidgin, first open your buddylist and go to Accounts > Manage Accounts and click the "Add" button.

Then in the new window, go to the "protocol" dropdown and select "IRC"

The account window will change and then enter in your information. *Username and Server are REQUIRED, however if you plan on joining more then once (and we hope you do!) You'll want to register your name on our server (nickserv and that will be covered later) so DO enter in a password and then DO tick the "Remember Password" box.

If you would like to make an encrypted connection to our network (again optional, but HIGHLY recommended.) click on the "Advanced" tab and edit the port to the one listed on the website heading above (typically 6697). Then put a check in the box that says "Use SSL".



**** IF THIS IS GREYED OUT! ****

(it will be with the actual mIRC client by default) and you want to make an encrypted connection to our network, you will need to install the openSSL bianaries which can be found here from the mIRC site. During the install when it asks if you want to install this system wide, you do. (C:\Windows\System32 folder)

That's it. Click save!

Now back at your accounts window, check the box to enable the account. This should get you connected and then our server will automaticly pull you into the main chat room #Chat. Your now online with us on irc!

Because this page is just ment to get you online to our servers, the rest of the help can will be found there. Try saying "!help1" in our main chat room to be sent a text file with more information aimed towards how irc works and the commands to use to get around in it. If your really stuck, join the #Help room with this command "/j #Help"
